Cruisin' Grand - Escondido. I've driven past the event countless times on a Friday afternoon, but this was the first time I've actually walked it.

I was scheduled to shoot a wedding on Friday, but the event was postponed. Free for the day, my wife and I went to the Wild Animal Park to see the recently born baby elephant. On our way back through Escondido, we turned on Grand Avenue to get to the freeway and noticed all the classic cars lining the sidewalks. We stopped for an hour and walked the avenue. I can see this becoming a regular thing for me on a Friday night.

The event runs every Friday through Sept. 24.
